45 Park Lane opened with a spectacular showcase of art by ten of Britain's leading artists adorning its guest rooms, hallways and restaurant. Work by top British artists - such as Sir Peter Blake, Patrick Hughes, Bruce McLean, Joe Tilson and Brendan Neiland - feature throughout such as Sir Peter Blake's "Dancing Girls over Rotten Row" in The Penthouse Suite and all 16 of Damien Hirst’s limited edition "Diamond Dust Psalms" line CUT at 45 Park Lane, the hotel's modern American steak restaurant.
Jin-Woo Prensena - ELEMENTS
In a previous guise as a top handler in Hollywood Jin-Woo Prensena extensively travelled the world to some of the most unique and interesting destinations. Continuously curious with a desire to capture the unique moments and settings he experienced, Jin-Woo started taking pictures while on trips and taught himself over the years how to shoot. Jin-Woo's work was quickly recognised in Los Angeles and he rapidly emerged in the field of fine art photography specialising in large format prints.
ELEMENTS features 29 prints, most never publicly shown before, ranging from a peacefully floating great white shark off the coast of Mexico to unique aerial shots taken while hanging out of helicopters in Whistler, Kauai and Santa Monica. The audacious photographer's passion for shooting under challenging conditions has also resulted in breath-taking images of riverbeds in Icelands's highlands. Jin-Woo describes the collection of images as "straightforward and uplifting", and suggests that despite the drama and challenges often faced behind the camera, the final prints are all "unobtrusive and peaceful" in nature.
In association with Ackerman Studios, works exhibited in The Lounge and BAR 45 at 45 Park Lane. All artworks are available for sale, POA.

Furr & Mankowitz - 45RPM

The title 45RPM (45 Revolutions per minute) comes from Gered's background in music - recording the icons of music through his iconic photographs of musicians who made their careers with single sales ('45's) and the revolutionary power of Art. 45 Park Lane looks forward to welcoming back Christian Furr following his exceptional exhibition "Staying Alive" with the late Chris Bracey in the summer of 2013. Furr's work can also be found in the third floor suite and bedrooms at 45 Park Lane.

Bonnie and Clyde - This Place
Bonnie and Clyde is an artist and printmaker who uses photography, paint, collage and print to construct graphic mixed media pieces and limited edition prints. Inspired by everything from signage and iconography to music, film and the lives of other people, Bonnie and Clyde responds emotionally to socio-political occurrences intertwined with personal circumstances. A keen photographer, she enjoys travelling and capturing images that explore her interests in street photography, architecture, the sea and psycho-geography, which are then appropriated into her artwork. The artist is from Bradford in West Yorkshire, birthplace of David Hockney whose work she draws inspiration from.
