Furr & Mankowitz - 45RPM

A new collaboration between royal artist Christian Furr and Godfather of Rock Photography Gered Mankowitz featuring signed, original prints such as "The Rolling Stones", "Jimi Hendrix" and "Kate Bush", bringing Furr's distinct painting style to some of Gered's most famous and iconic photographs. The title 45RPM (45 Revolutions per minute) comes from Gered's background in music - recording the icons of music through his iconic photographs of musicians who made their careers with single sales ('45's) and the revolutionary power of Art. 45 Park Lane looks forward to welcoming back Christian Furr following his exceptional exhibition "Staying Alive" with the late Chris Bracey in the summer of 2013. Furr's work can also be found in the third floor suite and bedrooms at 45 Park Lane.

Bonnie and Clyde - This Place

Bonnie and Clyde is an artist and printmaker who uses photography, paint, collage and print to construct graphic mixed media pieces and limited edition prints. Inspired by everything from signage and iconography to music, film and the lives of other people, Bonnie and Clyde responds emotionally to socio-political occurrences intertwined with personal circumstances. A keen photographer, she enjoys travelling and capturing images that explore her interests in street photography, architecture, the sea and psycho-geography, which are then appropriated into her artwork. The artist is from Bradford in West Yorkshire, birthplace of David Hockney whose work she draws inspiration from.
